Each service at AquaPaws is a clinical discipline built on peer-reviewed canine rehabilitation science. Your dog will never receive a generic session; every visit is structured around their specific diagnosis, surgical history, and recovery benchmarks.
Your First Visit
We review all veterinary records, imaging, and surgical notes from your referring vet before your dog arrives.
A comprehensive gait analysis, muscle mass evaluation, and range-of-motion assessment on all four limbs.
First contact with the pool or treadmill is always gentle, pressure-free, and entirely at your dog's pace.
You leave with a written rehabilitation plan, session frequency recommendation, and home exercise instructions.
Clinical Scope
AquaPaws accepts referrals from veterinary surgeons, internists, and general practitioners across Austin and Central Texas. All patients require a veterinary exam on record within the past 90 days.
Recovery Spotlight
"Twelve weeks after Bear's TPLO surgery, he was back to full trail runs. The team at AquaPaws gave us a structured protocol from day one, kept our surgeon informed after every session, and made Bear feel completely safe in the water. I was skeptical about hydrotherapy but the results were undeniable."

Clinical Experience
The initial assessment is a full 60-minute clinical evaluation. We review your dog's records, conduct a functional movement screen, and design a protocol before the first water session begins.
